Welcome To Jul's Travelogy

Melaka

Traveling with parents can either be a boring journey or an exciting one. I chose the latter cos I know I can depend on them to pay for my food!

This one-day trip to Melaka was the "bright" idea of my mom (as usual :p). We left on wee hours on Sunday when the world is still soundly sleeping and returned to Singapore on the same day almost midnight when the world is mostly sleeping.

Melaka is a fairly cheap and safe place to travel. The people are quite friendly too. Though I'm not sure if accomodation is cheap, I did bump into a couple of cute backpackers guys! :D

The weather in Melaka seems to be more hotter than in Singapore. So, don't forget to slap as much sunblock, bring your hat or umbrella - you will definitely need them.

Oven-Baked & Loud Blasting Van

With oven-baked temperature and loud blasting songs booming from the speakers above, I was on the edge of getting baked, but I managed to stay cool....
Cool Daddy

Ok, here's my dad trying to look cool even though he too suffers from the oven baked temperature...

Hot Shot 1

Hot! Hot! Hot! Looks a bit like Thailand with all the vehicles cramming near me...
Hot Shot 2

Building behind is the Equatorial Hotel

Hot Shot 3

Kiasuim Hits Me! GuEsS sunglasses, BiLlabong fishing hat (or Japanese hat as dad calls it) and Watson lightweight barely manage to protect me from the heat!
Hot Shot 4

This is the most hottest shot and most creative of protecting oneself from the unforgiving heat!

Couple Of The Day

I dare say that they are the most well-dressed couple of the day. Behind them is the van that took us to Melaka.
Spanish Fan Buskers

Spanish fan trying to keep me cool from the weather. On 2nd thought, we look like those buskers minus the musical equipment! :p
